Granite Ridge Elevation · 360° Skyward Thermal Glazing
The Aurora Observatory is placed on the highest elevated point of our Swedish estate. Built with an elliptical timber base of Swedish spruce, the glass canopy features custom electro-conductive microscopic wire arrays inside the double-glazed vacuum chamber.
When external temperatures plummet to -35°C during January and February, the automated glass heating circuit activates imperceptibly, melting snow immediately on contact and eliminating interior condensation for pure, crystal-clear views of the Northern Lights directly from the motorized Swedish Hästens bed.
